Rating System
Hello, lovelies! This will probably sound similar to other rating systems you know, but I want to make sure we are all on the same page.
The rating system I use is the standard 5 stars. I rate on a scale of 1 to 5, with 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.
5: This was the greatest book since sliced bread!! I need to talk about it to everyone and make sure every person in the world is aware of this AMAZING book!
4: Overall, this was a great book. More-in-likely, there is a handful of aspects (character/scene/plot) that I didn’t like.
3: These are okay, nothing to write home about books. I did finish it, but it wasn’t a book I had to go back to nor one I would probably ever go back to.
2: I don’t have a lot of books I rate a two. Typically, they are books that I had to read for a class, so it was the only reason I finished it. These are just bad! Probably there was one redeeming quality of the book or it had a good premise that was represented horribly.
1: This was horrible, I want the time back that I spent reading back, kind of book. It was a physical struggle to get through. Rarely, do I have a book at this rating, it only happens when I re-rate a book (ex: When I first read Twilight, around 6th grade, I think I gave it a 2 or 3, but a few years ago I went and changed it to a 1 on Goodreads).
I am open to receiving book review requests. If you are an author, publisher, agent, etc. please continue reading before contacting me about reviewing a book.

The Reviews
Please know, that I will be honest and kind in my reviews. I understand that I am reviewing the book, not the author. If I enjoyed the book I will write a glowing review on my blog, which will also be posted on Goodreads, and rave about it on Instagram and Facebook.
If I did not enjoy the book, I will post an honest review with the strengths and weaknesses detailing the parts I liked and where I could see improvement. If this makes you uncomfortable, please think before sending me a request.
Please inform me if there is a hard deadline for this review, as I have a full-time job and would need to prioritize.
