In general, I review books using the basic 5 star rating system. I take into account not only how much I enjoyed the book but also the character development, the plot, and the writing quality. I write my reviews with an honest and straightforward point of view. This does not mean I will bash a book or author. I always seek to be fair and explain why the book didn’t work for me.
Did not like and would not recommend
Didn’t enjoy myself but had some good ideas or an interesting concept
Usually these are the books that were enjoyable but were average in terms of writing or character development
Absolutely loved it! There might be one teeny, tiny part that I have issue with that falls short, still recommend it to everyone
Amazing book that resonated deeply with me, and one that I recommend to everyone
