Of course, I plan to read certain books, but one thing or another gets in the way. Or I find that I just am not in the mood for that particular book at the time. So, hopefully, I can get to them in 2021.

I heard about this book a few weeks ago while listening to the podcast Behind the Bastards (Elite Panic Ep). I checked it out from the library before leaving on vacation (Christmas Break). Yet, I wasn’t in the mood for something heavy and wanted instead to immerse myself in some fiction. Hopefully, I can get to it this coming year.

I bought this back in June or July and just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

I had this book on hold to pick up at my work, but for some reason something happened, so I had to cancel the first hold and re-do the hold.
I finally checked it out once I was back at work in January and finished it a couple of days ago. Review will be forthcoming.

Nope, still haven’t finished the last Throne of Glass book. I just keep having a difficult time with Sarah J. Maas’s writing. After finishing Tower of Dawn, I’ve had a difficult time ignoring the lack of representation and mistreatment of BIPOC characters in her previous books. I’m not sure if I will ever finish this series or if I’ll read future books of hers (minus House of Earth and Blood cause I already read it).

School and work got in the way of reading this one. Hopefully, I can read this one in 2021.

Started reading this in the summer or maybe fall, then I stopped. I don’t remember why.

I placed this book on hold hoping it would be available before Christmas started but it wasn’t. So, I’m still waiting for the book to arrive.

I just never got around to this one, but I’m definitely planning to read this one soon.

This has been on my TBR list since it came out, but other books or life got in the way. I’m kinda happy I waited since now the whole trilogy is out, so I can just read straight through.

I bought this cause it sounded like a fun and enjoyable read. I started it and am not sure if I’ll finish because I’m not a huge fan of the writing style. We’ll see.
Happy Reading Darlings!
I still need to read Henna Wars, too.
My post.
It took me FOREVER to read Kingdom of Ash because it was just so huge, I eventually switched to the audio because I just wasn’t getting through it and that was a lot easier for me. I do agree with the representation in her writing, it’s really not great and I also have some issues with the whole mating trope that she relies on far too much.

She really does rely on the mating trope sooo much!!
TOO MUCH!
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed ‘The Afterlife of Holly Chase’. I read some of it a few years ago, stopped for some reason, and then tried again last year. It definitely has some great moments. I hope you get to read it soon! 🙂
I love the format and how simple but easy to read your blurbs are! All good books on here I think. <3
Thank you so much!
Fable is one I want to read this year as well. I hope we both love it.
I need to read Lovely War soon!
My TTT.
I also want to read ‘All Boys Aren’t Blue’ but haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m glad someone bought me a physical copy, the cover art is beautiful! 🙂
The cover art is totally what drew me in, absolutely gorgeous!!
