Friday Fives | Characters You Love to Hate

I started #FridayFavorites back when I started up the blog again and wanted to make sure I kept at least one regular post a week. This was, of course, before I knew there were others out there. But I decided to keep it, especially since I have the whole year planned out. In December, I decided to change it to #FridayFives instead to have more room for topics. If anyone wants to join me, the list for future topics can be found here.

Sometimes there are just certain characters that you love to hate, here are mine.

Of course, Mr. Collins had to be included in this list. The character himself was so well written, but man do I just want to punch him in the face. (Sidenote: for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, I think Matt Smith was a wonderful choice for the role).

There’s a reason we all hate Umbridge more than Voldemort, and that’s because we all have an Umbridge in our life.

I, as many other Throne of Glass fans, do not like and will never like Chaol Westfall. He was okay in the first book, then he just went downhill from there. I just want to punch his very punchable face!

Stevens, a long-serving butler at Darlington Hall, takes a motoring trip through the country and on the way he looks back at his past and his life. He’s such an unreliable narrator and makes himself better than he actually is, along with passing the blame to others rather than taking responsibility for his actions. Just shut up dude!

Briony sees something that she thinks she understands and ruins two people’s lives, along with their families. Then as an adult, she goes and write a book to “atone” for her sins, yet she never actually did any atoning because it was all A LIE!

Happy Reading Darlings!
