Friday Fives | Libraries, Real or Imagined, To Visit

Posted April 15, 2022 by TheNonbinaryLibrarian in friday fives / 0 Comments

I started Friday Fives back when I started up the blog again and wanted to make sure I kept at least one regular post a week. This was, of course, before I knew there were others out there. But I decided to keep it, especially since I have the whole year planned out. In December, I decided to change it to Friday Fives instead to have more room for topics.

Obviously, as a librarian, I love libraries! So here are some of the ones I’d love to visit.

I mean I have to include my favorite childhood library on the list. The library from Beauty and the Beast is what I wanted more than the prince.

The New York Public Library has to be on the list. One of the most famous libraries and it’s absolutely gorgeous! I want to visit even more now that I finished reading The Cartographers.

I’m a huge history nerd and would love a chance to explore the Library of Congress!

I’d of course like to visit The Library from Doctor Who after the Vashta Nerada have been taken care of by The Doctor and Donna.

Princeton University has such an amazing library. They’ve done an amazing job of keeping with the architecture but coming into the modern age.

Happy Reading Darlings!
