I started Friday Fives back when I started up the blog again and wanted to make sure I kept at least one regular post a week. This was, of course, before I knew there were others out there. But I decided to keep it, especially since I have the whole year planned out. In December, I decided to change it to Friday Fives instead to have more room for topics.
Sometimes life is too much that you just need to get away, but since I don’t have enough money to leave everything behind, I have to rely on books to satisfy my need to travel.
Yes, this book annoyed me and was way to pandering to book people. But, the descriptions of Scotland were beautiful and made me absolutely want to go there to the highlands, not just the cities.
I mean obviously, I can’t go on this ship nor can I go to any of the planets. But man do I wish! This book did make me want to travel all over the world though!
While this was set in the 1870s, it still makes me want to go visit New Orleans!
Again another one of those books that are set hundreds of years ago, but it still makes me want to go on a trip across Europe!
Okay, I do want to visit NYC, but with this book I mostly want to visit the NY Public Library. It sounds so amazing!
