TTT | Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get a Copy for My Personal Library

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly topic hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provide a topic and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.

Ooo, the topic this week is such a fun one! There’s been quite a few books recently that I either had an ARC or borrowed and then wanted my own copy.

I actually pre-ordered a copy of this I loved it so much! And I actually got the special edition one from Barnes and Noble, which has an absolutely gorgeous book (without the book cover).

I’ll definitely need a copy of this one, especially before the next book comes out, so I can re-read it.

I borrowed this from my local library a few years ago and recently, not only did I buy a copy of Gideon the Ninth, but also Harrow the Ninth. I mean that quote at that bottom from Charles Stross is just chef’s kiss!

This was such a lyrically beautiful novel that I want my own copy to annotate!

I’m still currently reading this book, but I love it so much, I’ll definitely need to buy this one and the sequel!

Another library book, and I managed to find a copy (and a copy of the 2nd book) at the library book sale this past summer.

I’ve been a fan of Avatar since I was a kiddo. I picked up this book one night and was blown away! And the second one didn’t disappoint either.

Okay, this book may not be the most accurate to the original text, but it is a super fun book of murder in the regency era.

Oh man, this book really was a roller coaster and made me think about capital punishment and the prison system. Definitely one that I’d like to have in my own personal library.

I don’t know why I don’t own this book yet. I read an ARC of this and was blown away by the writing and the story itself.

Happy Reading Darlings!
