I started Friday Fives back when I started up the blog again and wanted to make sure I kept at least one regular post a week. This was, of course, before I knew there were others out there. But I decided to keep it, especially since I have the whole year planned out.
As April is coming to a close, here are the books I hope to either finish reading or read before the month is out.
One, we should all be proud of me that I’ve already started reading this ARC and it isn’t coming out till November (shocked emoji)! Two, I’m only 23% into the book and am loving it so far! The story, the characters, the queerness, and the fact that the main character is Indigenous, perfection!
I’m finally getting to the second book from the Duskwalker series. I’m enjoying it but I’m only 15% into the book right now. At this point, the first one is still my favorite but we’ll see what happens in the rest of the book.
I’m definitely starting this over the weekend. The first book was so good and I need to know what happens to all the characters (my babies)!!
A friend has recently finished this book, which reminded me that I need to read/finish this series. So I’m hoping to get to it this month. The first book was so amazing and creepy and it’ll be interesting to see where Muir takes the story and characters in this one.
For one of the book clubs I’m in, this was the book we chose to read for March. I completely lost track of time and didn’t get to it. So, I’m hoping to read it this coming week because I’ve heard so many good things about it. Plus, I’m all for diversifying my reading.
