Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly topic hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a topic, and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.
Today’s topic is actually on mainstream popular authors that I still have not read. But I’m actually going to tweak that because in thinking on this, I couldn’t come up with any. I’m usually willing to give authors a shot and try not to let the hype ruin it for me. That has so far not happened. My tweak to the topic are mainstream authors that I’ve read and didn’t like. This is not an attack on the author nor on anyone who did like their books. I’m so happy that they brought you joy, it just was a miss for me!
- Rebecca Yarros
- Taylor Jenkins Reid
- S.T. Gibson
- Mona Awad
- Jennifer L. Armentrout
- Olivie Blake
- Alex Michaelides
- John Green
- Meghan Quinn
- Nina de Gramont

Yarros, Reid, and Quinn are hard for me to swallow you not liking. I am wondering which books of theirs you tried and why you didn’t like them.
I haven’t read Rebecca Yaros either.
Here is my Top Ten Tuesday post.
Same with Jennifer L. Armentrout, I want to read Rebecca Yarros, but at the same time i don’t want to wait for the 5 book
I was honestly shocked when I found out that it was a 5 book series. I had already finished book 1 and wasn’t going to read book 2, but I’m super curious on how she’s going to make this last for 5 books!!
Other than John Green, I haven’t read any of these authors. I liked THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, but not enough to read more by Green I guess. LOL
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I like this twist. There are a lot of authors out there that a lot of people enjoy but that were complete missed for me. I’ve enjoyed John Green in the past, but can’t see myself picking up more of his books presently.
Thanks!! The only John Green book I finished was the Fault in Our Stars, I DND’f the others.
