Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly topic hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a topic, and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.
This week’s topic is April Showers, where I can choose where to go with this one. I was having a difficult time finding books I’ve read or want to read that had rain in the title or on the cover. So, I decided I’d pick books that are great to read when it’s raining!

Ghostly Paws by Leighann Dobbs
What Moves the Dead by T. Kingfisher
The Grimrose Girls by Laura Pohl
The Mystery of Mrs. Christie by Marie Benedict
Everything Under by Daisy Johnson
Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare
Once There Were Wolves by Charlotte McConaghy
Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
Jane Steele by Lyndsay Faye
The Seven and a Half Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Oooh yes!! These are such great atmospheric books for reading when it’s raining. One of my best memories was listening to the audiobook of Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot during a thunderstorm.

Oooo, listening to any King book when storming sounds like such a great idea! What a great memory to have.
I’ve always wanted to read Turton’s book. I should pick it up the next time it rains! That would be fun.
It’s a really fascinating concept on revenge, the justice system, and how far does punishment need to go till the person has “paid the price.”
