I am in love with this book so far! I’m only just over 100 pages in and it’s just so good. The characters are so fascinating and complicated, the setting is completely atmospheric, and I’m excited to see where the plot goes!

For the most part, this was a fun and adventurous novel! There’s a few things that I had issue with, which I point out in my full review of the book here, plus Freya’s self-sacrificial woe is me attitude became a bit too annoying by the end. But I’m always here for a morally grey character, so…
Reading Next
I finished the first book in this series a week ago. I thought the wait on Libby was longer but it came in yesterday, and I’m excited to get back to Mystic Notch. The first book was such a cozy murder mystery that I was actually a bit surprised on who did it. I’ll be curious to see where this goes!
