Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly topic hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a topic, and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here. Today’s topic is covers with [item] on the cover, and in honor of Thanksgiving (even though it’s a pretty garbage holiday that also perfectly encapsulates the American experience), I’m going to feature books with food on the cover.

This post is making me so hungry. 🙂
Oh good, my evil plan of making people hungry worked 🤣
These are some good ones, I’ve wanted to read Crying in H Mart.

I had to go back 220 books to find 10 that had food on the cover, and I was VERY liberal as to what qualified as food, The Secret Knowledge of Water by Craig Childs has pools of water on the cover. So here’s my list: The bad Girl, Llosa, Eugeni Grandet Balzac, David Copperfield, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen Rudolfe E Raspe, Witch Craft and Black Magic Montague Summers, Goha the Wise Fool, unknown, my fav on this list, childs picture book with humongus life lessons, Ella Minnow Pea Mark Dunn, The Devils Elixer Hoffman, and Winter Meyer, last of the Cinder series, gave all the works four stars.
Oh wow, that’s a lot you had to go back! I haven’t heard of most of these except Ella Minnow Pea which was such a fascinating story, narratively speaking!
Yum! It’s hard to resist a book cover with delicious-looking food on it.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I love the ‘The Heartbreak Bakery’ cover! And I’ve heard so many people love Crying in H Mart, I should pick it up some time 🙂
