TTT | Books to Read During a Storm

Posted December 10, 2024 by TheNonbinaryLibrarian in top ten tuesday / 10 Comments

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly topic hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a topic, and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here. This Tuesday’s topic is books to read during a storm. I’m going to have half of them be cozy, lighthearted reads and atmospheric books.

Atmospheric

The Last Housewife by Ashley Winstead

The Resurrectionist by A. Rae Dunlap

Beyond the Aching Door by Victoria Mier

Belladonna by Adalyn Grace

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

Cozy

Something Close to Magic by Emma Mills

Most Ardently by Gabe Cole Novoa

Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree

How to Excavate a Heart by Jake Maia Arlow

Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur

  1. I honestly couldn’t think of anything for this. During a storm I’m more likely to be watching out for tornado warnings, given where I live! I just shared my top ten favorite instagram photos (mostly sky shots) instead.

It’s gorgeous! It’s also a really good read. If you like historical fiction about body snatching with some queer romance, then I’d definitely recommend!
