Well, I definitely have a list of books I think everyone should read, but I’ll keep this to books only published in the 21st century. This is definitely a mix of nonfiction, historical, fantasy, and literary genres. Yes, this is more than ten, but twelve books is as far as I could narrow it down.

How Far the Lights Reaches: A Life in Ten Sea Creatures by Sabrina Imbler
How to Be an Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi
Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy
Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi
Gideon the Ninth by Tamsyn Muir
This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar & Max Gladstone
Belladonna by Adalyn Grace
Godly Heathens by H.E. Edgmon
Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White
Lore of the Wilds by Analeigh Sbrana
Faebound by Saara El-Arifi

Migrations looks interesting.
It’s a really fascinating take on climate change and animal conservation!
Belladonna was so good!
I love it so much, especially Death!
I feel like I hardly mention it but I really enjoyed Hell Followed With Us.
I’m excited for Migrations. I’m on a library waitlist for it.
I hope you enjoy it!
