Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Each Tuesday a different topic is picked by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl and everyone creates a list that fits that topic (or a variation of that). This week’s topic is Genre Freebie. I’m focusing on the romantasy books I’d recommend because most of the time they fall flat for me. So, if you’ll know these are well written and compelling.

Seven Deadly Thorns by Amber Hamilton
Faebound by Saara El-Arifi
One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig
A Fate Inked in Blood by Danielle L. Jensen
Lore of the Wildsby Analeigh Sbrana

Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu
Beyond the Aching Door by Victoria Mier
Bride by Ali Hazelwood
A Power Unbound by Freya Marske

I struggle with that in the romantasy genre as well. These all look like good reads, though. I’ll keep an eye out for them.
I haven’t read any of these but I do want to read Danielle Jensen and Freya Marske. Thanks for the recommendations!
I, obviously, recommend both! Hope you enjoy them!
These all sound pretty tempting – I’ll have to check them out. 🙂
I have surprisingly read a little very this subgenre. Freya Marske’s series looks really interesting!
I’ve read quite a few because I’ve been in book clubs were we’ve read them, but as I said, there always hit and miss. Either the fantasy aspect falls short or the romance is flat.
