Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
One of my goals this year is to read the books I actually own! I’ve created a cute little jar with slips of paper that has a book title on it to randomly choose a title from. So, most of my reading is a bit more random, but here are some books I plan to read (book clubs) or hope to read.

Real Life by Brandon Taylor
Who’s Afraid of Gender? by Judith Butler
The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez
Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe
Accidentally Engaged by Farah Heron
Done and Dusted by Lyla Sage
Plus Size Player by Danielle Allen
The Sum of Us: What Racism Costs Everyone and How We Can Prosper Together by Heather McGhee

Gender Queer was excellent. Enjoy!
I like the idea of putting the titles of owned books in a jar and picking them out at random. I might have to try that. My “owned, but not read” bookshelves are getting way too crowded. I definitely need to do SOMETHING to tame them. I hope you enjoy your spring reading!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

Yes, I’ve recently counted the amount of books I own and haven’t read….it’s a bit embarrassing 🫣 I’d definitely recommend it to get your owned TBR under control
The Spear Cuts Through Water has been on my TBR for quite some time. I’ve heard so many good things about it. I hope we both end up enjoying that one and that you love the rest on your list as well.
